In 2010 I won the Reportage section of Black & White
Photographer of the Year.
In 2009 I was
fortunate to win the title of
Professional
Photographer of the Year.
I also won the
Portrait category and had work short listed in the Landscape
category.

Norfolk
I'm a professional and fine art photographer
of people, landscapes
architecture, and a brewery! Being trained in traditional darkroom
printing my
first love is still a fine art monochrome image.
A selection of these can be viewed in the Portfolio section under
Mononchrome.
My commercial and fine art photography
includes landscapes of
Gloucestershire, seascapes of Norfolk, and
portraits of artists and
aritisans. I have photographed sheepshearers,
silversmiths,
carpenters, blacksmiths, brewers, fine
artists and fashion models.
I've also produced architectural photography
and cityscape studies
of Milan, Amsterdam and Spain and I am
presently involved in a
protracted series of portraits of bar life in
Milan, Amsterdam and
England. An exhibition of work in progress was held at Colchester
in the Mercury gallery, details are on the About page.
I'm also an advertising designer and
undertake various
freelance
advertising and design commissions
which have a strong
photographic content.
I have worked closely with Hook Norton
Brewery for a number
of years producing
commercial photography,
design and fine art
prints. My fine art
photography has been exhibited in
England and
Amsterdam.
At present I am producing work for exhibition
in Art Galleries
in Norfolk, working in both colour and black
and white, and
looking to marry the ' wet darkroom' printing
process with digital
printing technology.
